Title Details
Carrie Esopenko, PhD  September 2016 Dr. Esopenko received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Calgary and her PhD in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan. She then completed a postdoctoral fellowship in at the Rotman Research Institute at Baycest Health Sciences in Toronto, where she was part of a team assessing the long-term effects of repetitive concussions on brain health in high-level athletes. The goal of her research at Rutgers University is to assess how brain injury affects brain health across the lifespan. She is particularly interested in examining how sex differences affect brain and behavior in the acute and chronic stages following injury. See link for Dr. Esopenko's publications:
